The TotalBoat Trailer-Mounted Boat Lift is a safe, stress-free way to raise a boat weighing up to 7,500 pounds up to 12" above the bunks or rollers, by yourself. Do routine maintenance with your boat still securely attached to the trailer.
This simple but ingenious system uses four lifts attached to your trailer and positioned under the four strongest areas of the boat: hull chines, stringers, and transom. While raising the boat, it's easy to keep the load balanced by turning the adjustable rod on each lift one half turn at a time. As your boat lifts up off of the trailer, it remains stable and secure because the lifts are attached firmly to the trailer itself.
Sturdy, adjustable lifts are available in two sizes and are extremely easy to configure to accommodate a wide range of boat shapes and sizes. No more hoists or dangerous improvised solutions! See the Tech Specs tab and the Info & Guides tab for dimensions and fit information that will help you select the right lift for your boat and trailer.
Note: Not for use with I-Beam trailers.

Boats with very low trailers and or low rise from the trailer to the boat may lack sufficient clearance.

The height of shortest arm was still too tall for my trailer. Needed to cut about 2 inches of the tube so I can slide the stand between trailer and boat. I knew the plates are too small for my trailers beam so ordered 1/4" 6×6 plates from Amazon. Made 4 holes at corner. After these adjustments it could do the job. Lifted the boat so I could fix the gelcoat damage from bad bunks. Boat is about 7000 lbs.

Plate sizes were not wide enough to fit on my trailer I beams. I have a coyote trailer. They should have made it more clearer on the specifications that this may not fit on certain trailers with a beam width greater than 5 inchs. Also they were no help when I called there customer service. Wouldn't take a return on the item. Didn't offer wider plates. And rep immediately pointed out if I made my own plates it would void warranty. So I did it anyway. Cut some 1/4inch x 6 inch steel plates, drilled out 1/2 inch holes and bolted the lifting jacks on and they work perfectly fine now but what a hassle. Lifts my 5000 lb boat off my trailer so I could get my bottom painting done.

I purchased without realizing that there must be at least eight inches of clearance between the boat hull and the trailer to mount the unit. I have a 17' whaler. I was able to mount the units under the bow chine, which is quite high on the boat. In the aft area I only had four inches of clearance. I stacked blocks of wood under the transom and used a bottle jack to raise the stern enough to mount the lifts. Once I did that they worked as advertised and I was able to sand and paint on my back with a creeper. Although I had to figure this out and do some extra work I am still happy with this product. The alternative ways of getting a small boat up off the bunks to paint are more complicated, require more work and are probably more dangerous.

I just installed these jacks to my trailer & boat today, after they been delivered almost a month ago sitting in the boxes until today. When I made them taunt to the boat I soon noticed that the orange paint used on the top of the wood was coming off onto my boat. It seems like the orange paint was still somewhat wet. Why even paint the wood blocks at all? SMH... I recommend if you buy these to replace the top pieces of wood.

It is made very well heavy duty. Some of the orange paint got on the threads which made it a little tuff to turn at the start but no big deal.

Worked as advertised. Would be great if kit included spacers for smaller trailer rails. I ended up using some pieces of lumber which worked fine. Great product!

I'm a believer if you want something done do it yourself. The trailer lifts worked great minimal modification my trailer frame depth was only 4" installed 1/2" metal spacers under bottom plate then washer & nut, easy assembling. Bottom painted on Saturday morning boat in water Monday morning.
