is it ok to use polyurethane after the teak oil or i9s it ok to use a good sealer?
I would not use Teak Sealer under polyurethane. It is best to have the wood as clean as possible with as much natural oils removed as possible to allow a finish to penetrate the grain. After stripping and sanding any finish/oils from the teak, I would wipe it down with acetone just before applying a finish. Also, I would not recommend polyurethane to be used on exterior applications. A good Spar Varnish or Cetol would be a better choice.
Can this product be used to seal other kinds of wood?
I would think so , I have to recoat my teak decks every six months , I Iove the stuff , just a light sanding and it's ready for another coat , matter of fact I need to order another gallon , thanks Rick
