Is this the replacement shift cable for cc22319?
I ordered CCX63319...which I believe to be the replacement for cc22319???
don`t know sorry john r
That is the part number the cross reference chart calls out- just remember to order the connection harfware or plan to use the hardware off the old installation (that is what I ended up doing) cheers
We never had time to fit it before Chicago - Mac race and boat sank in the race due to broken carbon fibre rudder shaft. So, cable was submerged for a day or 2 before salvage.
Yes- Also note that you will need the 19 foot cable as denoted in your part number CC22319
I don't know. The Quicksilver control cable 22319 appears to be for the Mercury Outboard. I would talk to a Mercury dealer to see if a Teleflex 3300 series would work, note that it looks like you need 19 feet so you will need a similar size 3300. I have used the 3300 for decades with great service
does this cable fit for the shift as well as the trottle?
On my vessel it does - I suspect that is true for most installations. I carry a spare cable that is the length of the longest run - there is adequate room to loop the extra length for the shorter runs. Often the cables are held in place by split rings, having split ring pliers around and some spare split rings is a good idea. Those split rings have an uncanny ability to fly off into the recesses of a bilge.
yes it does and it wors well
yes in most cases
yes it will work for shift and throttle as it installed it for my 90hp Yamaha. just make sure of the ends and how long you need it
i have a Morse throttle cable description D32377-003-216.0 do you carry this cable?
It looks like it will be the TEL-CC33218 18' CABLE with 10/32" threaded ends.
Will this cable fit my 1972 Chrysler 55hp 14'? Where can I find pulley that I see routing the existing cable? Thanks
not familiar with 55 chry
the cable work just fine on my 90yamaha motor just make sure you have the right ends
This cable versus Edson Cable for approximately $80. Does it have the same smooth operation? I saw an Edson cable that can be bent in a tight horseshoe shap an still move smoothly, will this do the same?
I bought this cable to replace a long run of 33c red jacket 31 feet I had modified the access for my upper station and only needed 11 ft runs the 3300 is capable of tight bends much better than red jacket and is very smooth i operations I did concider edison but desided 3300 was a better cable, in fact it was so good I plan to use it to replace the 50 ft runs to the engines. I hope thi helps
Thanks Bryan, Like I said to Lynn, I have been battling a very stiff throttle for some time now and this spring it goes. I'll be purchasing the cables and thanks to all of you I now how to proceed.I'll post a reply as soon as the job is completed.Tanks againJohn
Thank you Lynn, Since the boat was new the control cables were stiff. Only last year did they become impossible to deal with. I plan on changing them out this spring, thank you for the input. I'll be sure to write and let everyone know the difference.john
These have a minimum 6" bend radius, and do work smoothly, not sure what the Edson cable is.
I don't have an experience with Edson Cable but I purchaced this Teleflex 3300 cable several moths ago to replace a broken OEM shifter control cable between flybridge and lower helm controls on a 38' Bayliner and it worked like a champ. My application didn't require a super tight bend but it did make two 90 degree turns and then another almost 180 degree turn in the last 4 feet. Works great for me. Good luck.
are both ends the same with cc clamp ends?
This is a universal cable, both ends are threaded. Thank You.

awsome just as ordered priced right.
cable worked great thanks again
Quality cable, works great.
I need a new transmission control cable so I replaced the throttle cable at the same time. Was no problem in my old cabin boat(floors come up for east access). Cables work very nice.
