Does anyone have these installed on a Wellcraft St. Tropez? if so what do I need to get to install on mine?
I dont have Wellcraft but just installed on Kadey KROGEN.If u have good access and a motor that matches with these arms, then the installation is very easy.they come with allen wrench.getting old ones off will b hardest part.lining up and adjusting new ones is a little tricky so be patient.
i installed this on a fiberglass kit car. If you have enough room below the windshield to mount the motor then it should work.
I have a 1991 Holiday Rambler Alumi Lite Class A RV. Will this fit my RV? My double arm wiper arm broke.
It has 4 adjusents to fit window spans, check the spans out for your application.
If the mounting plate (rectangular with a shaft though one end and a retaining screw on the other end) looks like the picture then it should work fine as it is fully adjustable for length. It is a well made product.
I installed this on a replica Ferrari P4. I located it on the centerline of the windshield. I would think you could use it on your RV as long as you are doing one windshield side. This will only operate one windshield wiper. Hope this helps.
Well.....there are three variables, the way the blade mounts. This has a flat metal tab. The unit attaches to a motors that have round grooved shaft. There is a flat metal support that goes over the shaft first and needs a screw thru it to keep from spinning. The length of the arm is very specific to the window, make sure you order the right one! Unit works well for me, heavy but not quite commercial.Good luckJonathan
The AFI adjustable pantographic wiper on the starboard front window of my boat cleans well; however, the port window wiper does not remove the water. The wiper rotates over the window but doesn't seem to have any downward force. I presume the wiper arm can be adjusted but I have not been able to obtain any instruction. My hit and miss approach doesn't seem to be doing any good.I would appreciate any comment regarding the manner of adjusting the wiper arm.?Thank you, Ray Martin
I had a similar problem. Mine was solved by just pressing down to get the blade edge on the glass. Good luck.
How are they adjustable. One of my blades only clear the lower part of the window?
This arm assembly is designed to keep the blade in a verticle straight up and down position as it travels from one side of the glass to the other, giving it a clear swipe that is as tall as the wiper blade is long. The length of the blade depends on the size of the glass top to bottom.

Thanks for input. How are they adjusted? Couldn't find anything on the web.
Ok for the price
Can be adjusted for various windshield hights within it's limits. I have several of these AFT units and have issues regarding it's soft pot metal mechanism which attaches to the wiper shaft. One unit cracked in half, the other corroded so bad that the splines were deteriorated leaving only the set screws to hold fast to the shaft. Needs improvement here.
