The Rule High Speed Inflator Deflator 12V air pump will inflate a typical 4-man dinghy in as little as two minutes. No more tiresome manual inflation with a foot pump! A complete set of adjustable adapter nozzles are included with the pump, to fit most inflatables and valve types including plastic, rubber, and spring valves commonly found on inflatable boats. A replacement set of adjustable adapter nozzles are available separately.
User the Rule High Speed Inflator with other inflatable marine items like marker buoys and RIBs. Reverse operation deflates all air from items for easier storage.

What kind of 12v battery do I need for this? The neg terminal on my car is inaccessible.
Any 12V battery will work. However, you don't really need access to the negative terminal as long as you have access to the positive terminal. The negative terminal goes to the ground in your car so you can connect the negative side of the pump to almost any metal part under the hood.
How do you control the RUL-ID20 from over inflation? Is it capable of providing 12-15 psi for a SUP?
Thanks for quick reply. That's what I figured. I guess a compact compressor with an accurate adjustable regulator would be the answer for me.
There's no control for over-inflation. And no, you won't get over about 7psi with this pump. It's high volume, low pressure. I can speak to this as I owned a Zodiac boat with a high-pressure air deck that required 11psi (tight as a drum). Doesn't sound like much given that bike tires are between 40 and 90 psi, but anything over about 7 psi requires a piston type pump. even my $200 Bravo pump had to switch from fan mode to piston mode to get from 7psi to 11Psi.
My towable requires 3 lbs which is just about where this pump maxes out.
Want the job done?
Rule must have purchased the rights to this originally Brittish designed pump...for obvious reasons..its better than anything they have made themselves. The outside plastic looks hard and brittle but its quite durable. I originally bought this pump after other pumps sucked, payed the extra cost on a gamble, I was litterally and figuratively Blown away. This will be the last pump you will ever have to purchase for an inflatable boat or I'm a big fat liar.

Impressive little pump!
I've had lots of air pumps, and never been impressed by any, until now. It's amazingly powerful and well built. Head and shoulders above any other pump on the market.
Pump it up!
Purchased this unit for my two inflatable kayaks. I can inflate and deflate these two kayaks within 10 minutes! Really amazing as far as I'm concerned! Unit not nearly as loud and high pitched as other units I have used in the past. Great for those who just want to pop out in their vehicle without having to take a compressor along!
