what about 36 volts?
Thanks, you are right, better safe than sorry.
I put it to use in circuit that uses 12 volts.

Those particular circuit breakers are typically rated 12/24 volts and not up to 36. Buss, Little Fuse and several others do offer breakers rated up to and over 36 volts. Unfortunately they are constructed more robust and are much more expensive.I believe the others would actually work fine given the nominal difference between 24 and 36 volts, but the manufacturer would definitely recommend purchasing the appropriately rated protection device for both the voltage and amperage.Much better safe than sorry.
When installing the breaker, I assume the pole labeled BAT attaches directly to the positive pole of the battery and AUX serves the device.? Just want to be sure.John
Thanx, I believed that to be correct but just wanted a second opinionJohn
That's correct, but I don't think it should make any difference.
John,That is correct. Installed one this past weekend. No problems.
Yes, that is correct...but in reality, either way will work. I just aligned mine so the reset was accessible.
Replaced worn manual ciircuit breaker
Replaced older worn breaker with a new one. Old contacts were corroding. No problems replacing. New connectors should provide correct protection for my electronics and other DC powered devices i.e. frig, lighting, freshwater pump,.
