the Whale Supersub features a low profile design for narrow bilges. Pump can be installed in a horizontal or vertical outlet position, and on horizontal or vertical surfaces. The removable strainer and twist lock assembly and disassembly, makes cleaning the pump simple and easy.
A 3/4 inch non return valve fitted in the line stops water from flowing back into the bilge. The Supersub has very low power consumption and available in various GPH (gallons per hour) versions, as well as 12 and 24 volt power configurations.

Bilge Pumps and Accessories
Broke in 2 months of light use
This product was good when I installed it, but it broke in 2 months of light use. The impeller broke off the connection to the motor. There were no objects lodged or any other cause. I have just a small amount of water in my bilge and would go off 2-3x for 2 minutes every 24 hours. Whale includes a check valve with the pump. (I know bilge pumps are not to have check valves, but it is included in this pump from the company.) The check valve would drain the narrow bilge, but in 8 hours it would leak enough to fill again, thus why it goes off 2-3x every 24 hours for 2 minutes. (6 hours of total use.) It lasted just 2 months and I have written to Whale and they have yet to help me despite a number of messages sent to them. Bottom line, do not buy. The quality is so poor that it is unreliable. I used to have a high opinion from Whale, but this is a terrible pump and from other reviews online, I am not the only one who has had this issue. It has made me swear off using their pumps in the future.
Mount Desert Maine.
pump has met all expectations.
The Whale bilge pump is awesome under continuous use. For its size it's surprising how capable it is.
