Hella Universal Fans are available in Jet Single Speed or Turbo 2 Speed models and are designed for air circulation in cabins or for defogging bridge windows in foul weather.
Jet Speed and Turbo fans can be turned and pivoted in all directions, locked in one position and side, upright or pendant mounted. Their quality German motor provides very quiet operation and makes the fans capable of providing high air capacity with low power consumption.
Each fan has a switch located in front of the blade guard with the single speed featuring a standard on/off switch and the two speed featuring an integrated two stage rotary, two speed switch. The single speed fan measures 6 inches in diameter and has a power consumption of 3.5W. The two speed measures 7-1/2 inches in diameter and runs on 6.5W, operating at 12V or 24V. Pre-wired with 140mm cable.

part number 12662 is that for a 12v or 24v fan?
If it is the one I bought it is 12VDC most definitely
HLL-006239022 is 12 volt.
NOT A BAD FAN!
Actually, the package says 5000 hours....that equals 7 months non-stop use. For their cost and intended purpose, these fans are fine.

Hella Cabin Fan Motors
we have to replace the motors on hella fans every year on our hella cabin fans, the bearings just wear out and get very noisy then freeze and won't turn, during summer they run 24/7 for months, even though the package says 50,000 hours which we never see, unfortunately you have to buy the entire fan housing just to get a motor, the housings never wear out ABS plastic !
After taking the fan out of the box and connecting it to a cigar lighter plug, I turned the fan on and it blew air nicely, about what I had expected from a compact fan. However, it stopped in a few seconds. The rotary off-on switch was very erratic. Just touching it would start or stop the fan. Or it would just turn itself off in a few tens of seconds. It appeared and felt like flimsy construction.
