#14 Stainless steel flat head phillips wood screws. Wood screws have coarse and deep threads to better anchor into wood. Flat head screws are used for general fastening when the screw head will be flush with the surface or when it will be countersunk and the hole will be plugged. Phillips drive allows for greater torque application when fastening. Stainless steel provides strong corrosion resistance.
These marine grade screws provide excellent corrosion resistance and are the work horse for modern boatbuilding or exterior woodworking applications.

I am attaching 1" Cumaru to a 4" HPDE 4" thick board It has to be countersunk and be stainless and meet ASME B18.6.1. What length and size screw should I be using?
Dear Sirs ,Sorry for not being able to answer to this question as the screws I bought were already defined on the plans I bought .However if not already done Trudy should ask WL Fuller as they have a lot of information on their web site and maybe it could help .Best Regards .Christian
Cumaru is Brazilian Teak -very hard wood, we'll have to pre-drill(new benches) Just trying to figure out how long the screws should be....
If you use a 2" screw and you are going to countersink the screw you will have about 1 1/4" into the board you are putting it on. I don't know the load and how far apart you are putting the screws. I would also use a strong glue.
1 3/4 - 14
I needed to replace the old screws. I used the same size screws. I don't know what you are doing. What is a 1" Cumaru?
It did the Job/ I hope is made in USA.
I used this product for furniture framing
Excellent quality from a reliable source
Available in quantities of 10 rather than 100; great money saver. If large woodscrews are installed in holes that will be plugged, 1/2" diameter plugs are required.
