#10 Stainless steel flat head slotted wood screws. Wood screws have coarse and deep threads to better anchor into wood. Flat head screws are used for general fastening when the screw head will be flush with the surface or when it will be countersunk and the hole will be plugged. Slotted drive is also called straight slot. Stainless steel provides strong corrosion resistance.
These marine grade screws provide excellent corrosion resistance and are the work horse for modern boatbuilding or exterior woodworking applications.

looking for spec measurements on this #10 screw?
Bryan,One inch long and 5/16 across the head.Peter
I do not have measurements but You see the rounded edges in the photo. These are slotted screws that really seem to fit nicely as a substitute for a #10 cross head (Phillips head) - same angle below head and not the sharp intersection of head and angle seen on an older common slotted wood screw or current brass wood screw. They are not a total snug and flush fit if replacing a slotted screw in an older hinge, for example. I will look more closely at home. I like using a brace to install these screws - have retreated to slotted screws (no tear out) and square drive screws -you can really crank SD with a brace at any angle. Good luck! Larry Wangerin
