what is the OD of the 5/16 inch washer?
OD is 5/8 inch
I bought 1/4 and 3/8 inch. The OD of 1/4" is about 3/8" and the OD of 3/8" washer is about 7/8".
1 3/4 inch outer diameter.
Is there any finish on these washers?
Sorry, it has been long ago that I ordered such washers. The ones I received were like tissue paper compared to earier products. At this, it is not for me to answer on hardware products as they change depending which suppliers stock the oriental items.I do not mean to be malevolent, but as a country, we have been inundated with oriental products; some good and many poor. Buy just a few and try them out, if they are passable then stock a fair supply.Good luck to you.
Not really. It is stainless steel.
The finish is bright, not high polished. It is easy to bring it to a #7 finish by buffing.
No, there is no finish, meaning no paint or varnish or any other type of coating.
If you are referring to a coating such as varnish or paint, there is no finish. The metal itself has a surface finish by which I refer to the process used to complete the manufacturing process and create the texture and appearance of the surface such as polishing or grinding.
Just the usual stainless steel satin patina typical of all stainless steel hardware.
No, just bright SS as shown in the picture. These are not polished.
No special finish, holding up well in saltwater location.
No, they are bare stainless
what is the outside diameter of the 1" ss flat washer?
If your looking at 1/4" X 1" or 1/2" X 1" SS flat washer, the outside diameter is 1".
what is the OD and thickness 3/4 stainless flat washer?
it depends.the normal washer is about .25" but a fender washer is much more and a maxi washer is even more. if you use the maxi washer you probably should double it up to spread out the load.
Ed,I may have been sent your question inappropriately. I purchased 316 S/S 1/4" flat washers, P/N FSS6FW14, and it appears you are asking about 3/4" flat washers. Nevertheless, here's my response for the 1/4" washers. The O.D. of a sample of 10 of the 1/4" washers turns out to be 0.625" +- about 0.001". On the other hand, the thickness of the samples ranges from 0.045" to 0.049". With a larger sample size, these ranges, both O.D. and thickness, will likely be a bit greater.--- Warren Davis

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE I.D . & THE THIKNESS OF THE FLAT WASHER WITH A O.D. 1 1/2" ?
the 1 1/2" would be a fender washer the thickness is the same as a standard flat washer 3/32". I have bought them up to 5/8" inside dia, that is a 5/8" bolt would go through it. Hope this helps
