can I purchase one box?
I did without any problem.
I believe so, that's what I did.
I am buying #2 brass screws in various lengths. What size washers will fit these?
Jamestown has #2 brass flat washers, that should be your best bet.
What size brass washer has a 3mm or slightly larger hole in it?
We don't offer a 3mm flat washer in brass but a #6 "FBRFW6" would be slightly larger, and still smaller than a 4mm, so this would work well, thank you.
WHAT IS THE ID; OD; THICKNESS?
ID = Inner Diameter.OD = Outer Diameter.Thickness = width of washer when stood on its edge.
according to my calipers, 0.80" ID1.87" OD0.12" Thick
What are the inner and outer dimensions of this washer? I need one that where the center opening is about 1 1/2 diameter, 2-1/2 to 3 inches across the entire diameter.
one I bought was about 3/8 or 1/2 in outside daim.

I bought flat washers for 1/4-20 bolts. Did you search on the Jamestown website for larger ones or google it?
is this the smallest i can use with # 10 brass round head screws? Thanks
Ned,I'm using the washers to connect toilet bowls to toilet tanks - they are good quality and do not rust or corrode since they are brass. However, I'm using them with brass bolts and not screws. Just determine the diameter of the screws and see if the right diameter washer is available.John
#10 brass RH screws are essentially 3/16" diam. (.187") at the top. So I guess you need to ask Jamestown the ID of the washer you are planning to purchase.
A 10-32 thread has a major diameter of .190. I measured a screw and found it to be .184 in diameter.A #10 washer has an ID of .218 and an OD of .500 and the next size down is a #8 with an ID of .187 and an OD of .437.Good luck
using a #2 r.h. screw. i think i need 3/16" hole size washers . am i correct?
Ken: It seems a 3/16" hole washer is a litle large for a #2 screw. I think I would try a #2 washer. 3/16" is closer to a # 10
You should be able to use 1/8" hole washers
I would have to try the screw in the hole... My guess is that a smaller washer would be better fit.
i haven't got a 2 to measure, sorry
sorry i meant 3/32" hole size for a no. 2 washer. is that correct? thanks, ken
a number 2 screw is smaller than i can probably see and would certainly fall thru a 3/16" hole
Is 7/8 the inner diameter of the hole or the entire diameter of the washer?
if you asked for a 7/8 washer, then it is the hole size; if it is the outside diameter you asked for a 1/4 inch washer.
I am fairly certain the entire washer diameter was 7/8". I do not remember what I used them for so I can not be certain.
7/8" would be the outside diameter of the washer. I am bery happy with the quality of the products that I buy from jamestown. locksmith (Jim)
That was a year ago almost but, I think I bought 7/8" OD and 3/8" ID. That's what is in my crystal radio build box that I was using at that time.GT

I didn't buy 7/8, but based on mrasurements of other washer I would say that 7/8 is the hole diameter.
It is a 1/4" flat washer the inner hole id 1/4" the outer diameter is 7/8".
I have been purchasing Hillman #6S Flat Brass Washers from Loew's. They are small -- about 5/16" OD/1/8" ID. What is the comparable size from this website? Additionally, I am looking for 3/8" OD/5/32" ID brass washers. Don't know the size of this washer but looking for correct size on this website.
You can get the size of the washers from the web site. All of the brass fasteners and washers have been of the highest quality.I buy my fasteners in quantities of 100. They are much cheaper that way, and probably won't be any more expensive than a small package from Lowes.Bob Fuqua
