what does 12M 1/2 inch means ?
The "12M" is the end of that bung's item number, "BUNG12M".The "12" identifies it as a 1/2 inch (in diameter) bung. The "M" identifies it as a mahogany bung. The item number is followed by, and effectively translates the "12" into 1/2 in so that we customers need not become schooled in JD's inventory tracking system. You will note that the quarter-inch bung appears as "BUNG14 1/4 in", for example.
12M means 12 mm or 1/2" in th long direction
