Fiberglass cloth tape is made of twisted strands of fiberglass that are woven at right angles to one another. Cloth has the highest glass-to-resin ratio and strength of all fiberglass materials.
Fiberglass tape is usually a narrow, cloth strip with woven edges that prevent unraveling. Use this tape for reinforcing seams and corners, and over epoxy fillets on plywood stitch and glue boats. 8.7 oz/Yd.

Repairing a fiberglass figure. Can this tape be used to cover holes. Is it adhesive? Do I have to use a product over this to smooth it out? Project does not require an absolutely perfect finish.
It is not tape per se, there is no adhesive. It is a long piece of fiberglass that is 6 inches wide and rolled up. I used it for making certain areas of a project extra thick to add strength. It requires some type of resin, epoxy, or other material.
It is not adhesive. It is just cloth with selvage edges so it doesn't fray. You need to use epoxy resin with this product. The epoxy soaks into the glass fibers and cures to a hard epoxy and fiberglass matrix. The epoxy also acts as the adhesive to "stick" the fiberglass to other things.
You need to use an adhesive with fiberglass tape. The fiberglass is a like a cloth fabric made out of glass fibers. It is not like Duct Tape. Fiberglass cloth and tape are used in wood working projects where high-strength and longevity are crucial (as in boat building) where the material is glued down with a high-strength adhesive such as epoxy or polyester. These adhesives require some experience but it is not hard to learn how by following expert directions. If you are repairing a fiberglass object, then you probably need to carefully learn the techniques of fiberglass repair with epoxy glue. Surface preparation (snading) and follow-up work (finish sanding to form a fair surface) will also be needed and require some skill and time. If you are just making hasty repairs to something in a low-strength application, then you may just need an industrial quality adhesive tape such as Duct Tape or Gorilla Tape.
there is no adhesive, you will need to use fiberglass resin, works great I used it to fix holes on my RV roof, it has a good tight weave also.
how long in feet is this roll?
A yard is 3 ft do the math
Works like it should.
Fiberglass tape is a simple, humble product that does its job well. Combined with Total Boat epoxy resins, it results in boat repairs that are easy and turn out well.

probably the best feature of this tape is the edges are sewn up so no unravelling, also is light enough to lay over a pretty good edge when wet out. I put it on chine of new constructionit will go over a small radius corner well, 1/4" radius im guessing, and will lay over well past 90Deg
