If used top install fiberglass insulation, can this suit be washed, ?
While I have not tried, I believe that it could be hosed off or washed on a gentle cycle and then hung to dry.
I am about 6'0 tall, weigh 230ish, will an XL fit or do I need a 2XL?
Thank you Rebecca! Sorry so late in my response :)
When purchased, the 2XL was at the very edge of fitting a form around 285. 2XL would be a safe bet to know you could eat a burger and not burst the seams. These don't breathe at all, so consider the duration of work and the ventilation before using this suit for a long stretch of time.
I'm 6'3" and was about 215 when I used this suit. The XL easily accommodated both my height and weight (with a lot of girth to spare). I think you'd be just fine with the XL and could probably take a nice swim in a 2XL.
Hey Daniel, thank you much for your reply. I'm sorry this is so late getting back to you, but I appreciate it.
Is this a dispoable suit or can it be uses over and over??
The suit is pretty durable, you should be able to use it over and over again. A great product for the price.
Hi, Jamestown shoppers.I purchased two Tyvek suits to use while glassing stage props. We found the suits to be fairly durable and reusable, to the point where they got too gunked out to wear. In other words, they performed well, lasted days and days until the project was finished, and were ready to be trashed when we were done.Hope this helps.John
It is disposable, but you can get 7 or 8 uses out of each suit depending on how neatly you paint and how hot it is outside. This suit is really resistant to paint getting through it, but it is also quite warm in the summer. It is much stronger material than many white painting suits.
It can be used over and over. I have used the same suits for more than a year in my bedliner shop, despite tearing menay holes in the suit. Warning... It does not breathe and is very hot in the summer. It is great in the winter because it keeps us warm. We have a cooling vest that we have to wear in the summer to avoid overheating and dehydration.
This suit is reusable. Do not dispose of unless it's showing signs of wear and tear. I've used mine a few dozen times and it's still very ready to use again. Be warned, use these suits somewhere well ventilated with cool air. You can overheat in them easily, wearing light pants and a t-shirt underneath.
With care, it will stand up to several uses, tyvek is much more tough than paper suit.
More fun than a day at the office, a
the dapper suit. I had more fun than the model in this product photo did while wearing this suit. Would buy again A+++
