Blue Sea Systems push button circuit breakers are ideal for continuous circuit protection. This style circuit breaker is used on all Blue Sea waterproof circuit panels and battery main distribution panels.
When the circuit trips, simply push it in to reset. The "Trip Free" design cannot be held in the ON position during fault current conditions. They are ignition protected for safe installations aboard gasoline powered vessels.

I need 3 of these, and they have to have 3 blades on each. Do these fit my needs?
No, only two terminals
My husband tells me that this breaker has only 2 blades. He also wanted me to tell you that he got stung by a wasp when he opened the door on the Snorkel to check it out. lol
Are these the type that function like an on/off switch in addition to being a circuit breaker?
No, mine was not, anyway. Just a plain breaker to put at the beginning of the circuit.
These breakers only interrupt current flow over the maximum rating of the breaker, they are not a switch.
No, you push breaker button to reset breaker when tripped
Push button circuit breaker devices are just that, circuit breakers and do not function as an off/on switch. They fit in a small dia hole in a breaker panel and are for protection of a circuit only.
No, they are just a breaker.
No. you push it to reset it. You would also need a switch
which type of connection it has on the back ,blade type?
The boat into which the circuit breaker was installed is currently in storage in Wisconsin, waiting for the spring thaw.I do not remember with 100% certainty, but I am guessing that the breaker has push-on/quick connect terminals. The breaker illustration can be found by going to the "bluesea" website and typing "7050" into the search box.I hope that this helps.

It's been over a year since I bought several of these breakers, but if I remember they have blade connections. If the clerk picks up one from the shelf, he can verify this info for you fast for the one you are looking to buy.
Yes, the connections on these breakers are the push-on spade connectors.
Yes it has blade type connections.
They are blade type on back
how many terminals on the rear of 20amp?
there are 2 terminals
There are 2.
THERE ARE 2 terminals
2 terminals on the back
Are the terminals top and bottom of the 5/8 width. Meaning looking at the %/8 width they would be horizontal top and bottom
I am trying to replace an E-T-A model, how big is the breaker?
It is smaller than a small matchbox. Box measures: 35mm length, 30mm width, 12 mm deep
I don't remember exactly what the dimensions were but I think it was 5/8" wideX1 1/2" longX1"deep. I replaced 10 old E-T-A s that were all corroded. They are on my Hurricane Deck Boat. They fit on a 6"X8" plate. I also bought the silicone caps to seal them. I have had no problems at all
If I remember right, these are about 2" tall, 1.5" deep and 1/2" wide. Going by memory here from a few years ago...
I upgraded from a 15 amp to a 20 amp breaker and found the size to be comparable to the one I was replacing. The biggest issue was unsoldering the original breaker from the buss.
i cant remember how big but it fit in nice with the factory ones with no problem
Hello,Unfortunately I ordered this item a long time ago. In the same year I had ordered also other brakers from other places. I do not remember which one were from JamesTown.... But I had two types. Ones were smaller and the others were bigger. But I don't remember which were these. For me the size was not a problem since I mounted them on the dash of my Jeep and there was enough space behind the new dash! Probably these were the bigger ones. I guess that would be like 1 1/2" x 1" x 1/2"Not 100% guaranteed
The breaker itself without considering the push button in the front and the male connectors the back are the following: 35mm x 30 mm x 15mm. If you want to consider the male connectors add 13 mm to the 30 mm and 12 mm if you want to consider the button.
It was just what I needed
They were ideal for joining a bank of switches however one side of blade could have been threaded to attach to a bus bar

Perfect replacement for factory install.
Had three breakers go bad on my new boat within 9 months [...] These replacements were cheap, fit perfectly, and can't possibly be lessreliable than the ones added by the factory...
These breakers bring your dash into the 21st Century. My 1990 Larson Mirado is now fuse free.
