Questions & Answers about Flitz Metal Polish Paste:
2013-10-01BILL GOODMAN asked: would this work for water stains on stainless steel fridge and dishwasher?
2013-10-01GLORIA ROSE: I have a Sub-Zero stainless steel fridge, and Bosch dishwasher. The best thing for cleaning these surfaces is a CasaBella microfiber cloth specifically made for stainless steel. There are cheaper cloths that don't work as well. Just dampen the cloth and wipe the steel in the direction it's laid out.
Flitz is terrific for other uses, like my stainless steel sink and faucets. I even used it on marble counters with good results. But it seemed to be
overkill on the appliances. Ironically, the Signature brand polish that came with the fridge caused streaks.
If you have a lot of grime on the surface, first wipe it down with a wet sponge with a tiny amount of Dawn liquid.
2013-10-01Bill Goodman: We have some water streaks that don't want to come off tried different things at it doesn't take them off! Thanks
2013-10-01BRUCE MAJOR: Yes, I believe it would. I use it to remove freshwater lake hard water dirty water stains from stainless steel rubrail and other related items on pontoon boat with great success. Some elbow grease required!
2011-08-04PAM EILERTSON asked: Will it polish the scratches out of a stainless steel sink?
2011-08-04TONY DUVALL: Don Know, I've only used it my vinyl windows Hull.
2011-10-02JILL KROMER: I never used it in the sink, I think it might polish it up a bit. I have used it on aluminum wheels on my jeep and polished the stainless on boats. Gel gloss is also good for brightening up a stainless sink.
Flitz does a great job cleaning and polishing many metals. On my boat corrosion on aluminum is always a problem- this stuff makes it easy to clean the crud off. Stainless gets pretty nasty when exposed to salt water- again Flitz polishes up nicely.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
