202 Fiberglass Solvent Wash is a combination of several solvents, some of which are very slow to evaporate from the surface of gel coat being wiped. This characteristic is very important because the wax contaminants must stay in solution so that it can be wiped from the surface before it dries. 202 Solvent wash is also an excellent parts clean up and multi-purpose wipe down solvent.
Use before painting bare fiberglass gel coats. This solvent removes mold release agents, wax, oil, and grease. Leaves a properly cleaned surface for optimal paint adhesion. 202 Solvent is also used for cleaning painting tools.
Available in Quart and Gallon sizes.

APPLICATION AND USE
Method Wipe a small area with a clean rag that has been wetted with Fiberglass Solvent Wash 202. While the surface is still wet, wipe with a clean, dry rag. Continue this process until the entire surface has been cleaned. Rinse with fresh water. If water beads up or separates, wipe the surface again with Fiberglass Solvent Wash. When the water sheets off, all contamination has been removed. Do not paint until surface is clean and dry.

I 'am ging to paint my old fibreglass sailboat after I solvent wash with 202, do I have to sand before applying epoxy primer ?
Wash doesn't replace sanding. After final wash only necessary to wipe with clean cloth then apply primer.
What is the coverage area for the Interlux 202?I have a 25 ' saliboat. Will 1 quart be enough or do I need a gallon or more? Thanks
If you are just rubbing the boat down before painting, I think 1 quart should be plenty.
I used under a quart on a 23 footer above the water line. I found that MEK, which you can buy at Lowes is cheaper and does the same thing.
Depends on how much you use.... My suggestion: You're probably spending way more $$ in paint. Don't skimp on your preparatory materials. It's not worth jeopardizing your entire project.
It goes a long way. I'd start with a quart and add-to if need be.
Can I use Interlux 202 as a thinner for Interlux 2000e?
IIRC Interprotect 2000e (which is what I think you meant) is not designed to be thinned. Use it just as it's mixed.
Of course you could call Interlux to verify, but I would definitely not do that.... Use the Interlux products as instructed and you'll be happy with the result. 202 is nasty stuff.
works great - too costly
Great for fiberglass prep prior to painting

This is some awesome stuff! Very powerful and does what it says! Highly recommend this!!
great product. cleaned old wax and dirt off fiberglass finish on my boat.
I was using this product to prep a hull for boot-stripe paint. The stern of my boat has a 3" thick vinyl rub-rail which had 10+ years of stain and mold that had resisted all vinyl cleaners I had tried. While removing wax from the hull, the solvent accidentally touched the vinyl and, voila, cleaned it back to white where it touched! I used it to restore the whole piece of vinyl to like-new condition in just a few minutes, and it did not leave the vinyl sticky. An unexpected bonus from a good product.
