Is the repair kit available with the slow hardener ? Here in Florida, the medium is fast!
Unfortunately this kit only comes with the Medium Hardener. To help combat the temperatures and short working time in FL heat, we would recommend cooling the product before mixing, and trying to keep mixed product in a thinner film prior to applying if at all possible. You can also try and keep the mixed material cool up until the point that you are applying the epoxy.

My mix didn't harden overnight. Can this be fixed?
If it doesn't harden on its own, it will not harden. If it was applied to a surface in a thick layer, it may still harden. Give it another day or so with the temperature up. I have had great success with MAS unless I mix something else in like micro baloons or sawdust.
If you mixed the epoxie in the proper proportions, the mix should harden assuming the temperatures are OK. You can assist the cure if you can warm the part that was epoxied. Epoxie cures faster in warm temperatures.
Does this epoxy have a shelf-life?
Unmixed it should be good for a long time, more than a year.
I've purchased this three times.
I use this epoxy to make many craft items. I have mixed very small amounts and it has worked well. Never disappoints.
Wish it came w/slow hardener.
This MAS product was recommended by a model boat builder friend in Florida. Repair Kit was a little difficult for me to find on the Website, but a phone call to sales was great support. It worked out well for gluing and coating the interior of my model boat, but I wish the kit still came with the slow hardener. My only problem is, I need more time for gluing and placement of the deck onto boat. Problem solved, I just ordered a qt of MAS 30-001 resin and MAS-30-006 slow hardener from Laurie. This will work well for coating the deck too. Thank you all for great service!

This is my third order of MAS epoxy.
I've been a Jamestown customer for more than 40 years and I will be back again and again. That should tell you I think of this company.
