These practical mixing, application, filleting and cleaning tools have found many places in our workshop toolboxes and we believe they will in yours, too. The squared, beveled end reaches into the square corners of your mixing pots for thorough mixing of epoxy and blending of fillers. It is also good for cleaning and removing the small ridges of uncured epoxy left from a filleting job. The opposite end of the tool is rounded, excellent for shaping clean, 3/8 radius fillets. Cured epoxy pops off easily, so the WEST System 804 can be reused many times. 3/4"-wide x 5-1/2".

Are these only 5 1/2" long?
Sounds about right.
Yes, the mixing sticks I purchased in October 2011 were 5 1/2" long. It is still the same part number so unless they have changed they should be the same. I used them for mixing small batches of resin in 1/2 pint cups for fiberglass work and they worked well.
Don't have one in front of me, but that sounds about right...these are nice since they can be reused, but I stopped spending money on these and just get extra stirrers from the hardware store and break them in half. No cost...and mix epoxy just as well.
Yes. The are quite excellent for mixing epoxies and can be re-used.
How long are the sticks?
Overall length is about 5.375"
Don't have any handy, but maybe 4 inches. I actually stopped using these and just break paint stirring sticks in half. These WEST sticks will clean up after the epoxy cures, but I seem to just lose them.
Usually I stop and cut my own stir sticks but these are handy to reach for when I get lazy or pressed for time
Great and reuseable
While I frequently use Popsicle sticks or other wood scraps, these plastic mixing sticks are much more useful. Good for mixing of course but also for cleaning epoxy oozes, making fillets, filling dings and they are reusable.

Easy to use...would definately purchase again.
Perfect for my mixing purposes.
Better than sliced bread
These little things are indispensable for filleting, spreading and cleaning up putties, etc. I just wish they came in more sizes.
A stick's a stick?
OK, I know that you think that a stick is just a stick. But do yourself a favor and spend a couple of bucks on these purpose-made mixing sticks. You'll be glad that you did.

Great for serving condiments . . .
We purchased these sticks for an unusual use. Annually we have a End-of-School Party for our youth group. This year we are doing a mission trip in the states and working with Habitat & "Give Kids the World" organizations. Therefore, our theme was Extreme Home Makeover. We used paint drop clothes for table clothes and empty paint cans for our condiments and the paint stirrers for spreading the condiments. They worked perfectly!

better then wood
good item much better then the craft store wood sticks i have been using
Good product and it fit the bill for what I needed. I wish it were "slippery" so that dried varnish would could more easily be removed for re-use.
These sticks keep on giving.
These plastic mixing sticks can be used in epoxy over and over again. The dried material won't adhere and easily filps off if you bend the stick. It also seconds as a great applicator for coving and filling small holes ie screw heads.Great design.
