Bilge Pumps and Accessories
Is a 1 amp ac/dc 12v power supply sufficient? Can you recommend one that is similar to a phone charger.
The pump's information label (I checked just now) calls for a 2.5 amp 12 volt fused circuit. I would not recommend something such as a phone charger as they are not designed to provide the amperage required to run the pump; remember, the pump is intended to move a fair amount of water up and out of a boat - something that represents a significant amount of work. If this pump is not intended for marine use, and 110 v ac is available, consider a small sump pump.
Sorry I don't know of any that is similar to a phone charger
what are the demnsions of the unit, height, diameter?
The pumps were installed down in the hull and are not easily accessed.Sorry
The pump is 3 1/2 inches tall and the base diameter is 2 1/4 inches excusive of the outlet spout.
can you put this pump under the water?
I put it under the water and it worked for me
Great bilge pump!
I ordered the same bilge pump for replacement so that I could use the same mount. Worked great with short installation.
