Can these replacement blades be used on plastic handle scrapers? The product description says, "wood handle' scrapers

I don't know if they will work on the plastic handled scrapers. They do fit the wooden scraper handles with the hole and slot arrangement two fit back to back and slide in from the side. I use them primarily attached to a long piece of hard wood to make a double handled scraper. With the longer handle you can get a lot of pressure on the blade for stubborn scraping jobs.

Yes but wood handles seem to work better. Everyone at the shop here makes their own handles. We wear out a lot of blades.BobWarren Pond Boatworks

Sorry, we can't help you. Our scraper has the wood handles and the blades work great on it.

Scraping is a torque induced operation and as long as the handle can handle these stresses, you should have no problem.

I don't know for sure, but it's logical that they could be used with either, wood was the origial handle material. John

Works great with plastic and wood handles. I prefer to make my own wood handles using a long piece of hardwood. Just drill a 1/4" hole near then end and shape like the production model. Sharpen often with a good mill cut file. This scraper is one of my most used tools for woodworking.
