The Two Cherries 500-1561 Chisel Set is made of the highest quality German steel. Carefully made, polished all-around. One of the finest tools made in the world! Ten to fourteen inches in overall length. Carefully forged blades are skillfully heat treated in an immersion bath method to achieve a Rockwell hardness of 61°C.
This means that sharpening the chisels may take a few extra minutes, but they hold an edge significantly longer than almost any other chisel. After heat treating, blades are polished to a rich finish that makes them a joy to use. Fitting appropriate handles is the final step in producing these highest quality German chisels. Set in a fitted wooden box that keeps your chisels protected in storage and ready to use.
Made in Remscheid, Germany for over 150 years, Two Cherries chisels will last a lifetime.

how do you sharpen these chisels?
I use a Veritas sharpening jig. I have three Japanese Water stones. 1200, 4000 and 6000 grits. Follow the Veritas instructions. It takes a little practice but works.
With a honing guide and DMT diamond whetstones. Instructional videos on YouTube help a lot.
There are a number of different methods for sharpening chisels. Almost all can be found with a web search. Here are some general rules for sharpening.1. You can use oil stones, water stones, diamond stones or a piece of plate glass with different grits of sandpaper adhered to it. The common theme here is a flat surface with an abrasive grit.2. Start with coarse grit first and work through the finer grits. With sandpaper grits, start with about 200 and work up to 1200 at a minimum. Stone grits are not uniform (a 1000 grit stone from company A may be different from a 1000 grit stone from company B).3. Flatten the back first to as close a mirror finish as you can. You only need to do this once.4. When sharpening the tip, as an amateur, use a sharpening guide. There are many types available. Pros may not use a guide and have an excellent feel to do it freehand. I have different guides for different chisels.Do a web search for "sharpening showdown" and you should get a hit for wood magazine. Download the PDF.Good Luck!
Norton water stones with a guide is what I use. Then polish it with some polishing powder ground into some hard leather.
