Comnect the red conduit from the battery to the left terminal (looking from the front) and the black conduit of the bettery to the other terminal.
There are two terminals on the back for the wire lugs. The switch has options for surface mounting or flush mounting. Mounting bolts are not included.
It does not come with the mounting screws.Your going to have to drill a 2 5/8 hole for flush mounting.
how many amps will the switch handle?

what are the demensions of switch in inches?
ought to be ob BluSeas website - but it is small. there seem mostly to be about two sizes of battery switches: large and small. this is small (but not teenie).
Are you looking for the mounting face dimensions or the mounting hole dimensions?
Do u suggest this item for a Travel Trailer with 1 battery? Is the box enclosed where I can mount on a flat surface? The picture is just the face only. Terminals entry from the side? ThanksMatt
Yes, it can be surface-mounted with the wires entering the sides. (It also can be mounted from behind a panel through a round hole, with the wires on the back).
Hi Matt, yes you can use it for your application. The switch is enclosed and it can be mounted on a flat surface but remember it is some 2 inches deep on the back side.giulio
XXXXXXXXXXYes, the switch mounts to a flat surface and the wiring can enter fromany side
The back is open so that cables can enter from left, right, or bottom.
Yes, it would be suitable for an RV with one battery. That is what I have. And the switch has a bottom so it can be surface mounted. The bottom of the switch comes off, you wire the top half and then put them back together.
appears to be what I need but lacks any data on the technical side, like what size wire will it handel, voltage and current capabilities

BSS Marine Battery Switch
I use this as an iverter cut-off switch in a small off-grid home solar electric system. It is mounted on the wall behind the inverter, and connected to the positive terminal of the battery bank and the positive terminal of the inverter. It is built like a tank, so to speak, very high quality. I use it only to cut all power to the inverter, as most inverters in solar power systems still drain some power from the batteries, even when the inverter switch is "off."It works! Easy to install! I'm delighted with this switch. (How can you be delighed with a switch? I don't know, but I am!!)
Well Built Product
Used this switch for a battery upgrade in an RV. Like the compact size. Current handling capability is more than ample for my application. Switch has a quality feel to it.
Right tool for the job
We prefer this products solid contrcution and screw down lugs.
