Is Taylor shock cord superior in quality than the less expensive brand you carry?
alanyes, its a great prouduct
It's is a great product. I used it on my pontoon tarp and it's still being used and looks brand new. I would by it again!
I have a couple paddleboards and we want put the EZ-PLUG on it and buy a bungee cord; do you think this cord is thin enought for work on it?
Not enough INFO to reply.............
I am looking to replace bunge cord on my lazy jacks for my sailboat. I don't know if I need 1/4" or 3/8". Can you recommend?....Jeff
There isn't much load on the lazy jacks to begin with and due to wanting to keep your windage down I would use 1/4, unless your boat is 25 or bigger, thank you.
Use what size hog ring for the 3/16" bungee cord?
Sorry for not being able to respond to the question, because I have never used the hog ring for the bungee cord in my applications.I think that since the hog ring seems inexpensive, it is better to do trial if it is suitable or not.Yasushi NakagawaTokyo, Japan
Sure it is. This is what i'm asking. Can't you tell me the right diameter that I need?
size of the bungee cord depends upon the size of the circle on the bottom of the hook that is used. i used it to replace old cord.
Well, thank you. I thought you know what you are selling.
It depends on the job you are doing and helps if you have a piece of old cord. I used1/4" I think to restring an anti gravity chair (LaFuma brand). It worked well.
Hi , I need a cord to be extension by 10% under 8 Lb. Can you recommend about the best choice? Thank You.
I do not know, but it must depend on the diameter of the shock cord.dglash
I do not know the answer. It is probably close, but it will vary with the specific batch of cord.

Restrung an outdoor lounge chair the cording had rotted away
Shock Cord is great!
The perfect solution for repair to a outdoor chaise lounge. The original shock cord gave out when bleached three times. So had a great chair with no way of holding anyone in it. I had been looking for shock cord kits for the chair but to no avail. Found Jamestown listed on line and ordered 50 ft of bulk 1/4 inch shock cord. The exact perfect solution. My chair is great and no one falls to the ground. In fact, better than new.
Decent shock cord for the money. Used it to restring a folding patio lounge chair and a tent fly.
Shock cord for sail cover
It was the right color and quality at a reasonable price.
