Life Cell Marine Flotation & Safety Equipment Storage Devices

High-visibility Life Cell Marine Flotation & Safety Equipment Storage Devices keep your family or crew together and afloat in the event of a boat sinking. These ingenious flotation devices have easy-to-grip handles and a watertight compartment to hold all of the important safety equipment needed on a boat such as flares, EPIRBs, and air horns for alerting rescue services. In the water, it provides a stable platform for deploying flares or activating EPIRBs.

Each Life Cell comes with safety lanyards & a mounting bracket. If the boat is sinking, the Life Cell will float off of the bracket. Lanyards ensure that users remain attached to the Life Cell in rough seas, or if they become fatigued or incapacitated.

Available in 3 models: The Yachtsman (assists 4 people), The Trawlerman (assists 6 people), and The Crewman (assists 8 people).

The Life Cell is designed to reduce the number of lives lost at sea when abandoning ship is the only option. Keeping all your safety equipment in one place and allowing crew members to stay together in the water until help arrives can mean the difference between life and death.

All models fit KTI, McMurdo/Kannad, and GME EPIRBs. EPIRBS and other safety equipment are sold separately and are not included with the Life Cell purchase.

NOTE: A V-Sheet (listed on the cover of each Life Cell, see main image) is a high-visibility marine distress signal flag with a black V on a bright orange background. It complies with Australian boating regulations. The equivalent is the USCG-approved marine distress signal flag with a black circle beside a black square on a bright orange background. Be sure to include one in your Life Cell to help ensure greatest visibility for daylight rescues.
