can ez tex be covered by gelcoat?
Generally speaking, it is not a good idea to gelcoat over epoxy as it can have problems with improper curing.
How long does this product take to cure as in a temporary repair on say a chine of a wood. Boat or a crack in a composite construction boat to keep water out until the boat can be properly repaired. Thanks
Cure time varies by temperature. At 70 degrees, EZ Tex takes about 5 and a half hours to cure. You can find more info about cure times at this link: https://doc.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/pdfs/Pettit/Pettit_EZ_Tex_TDS.pdf
Is it possible to add any color to EZ Tex ?

Easy and quick to mix. Just a little sag, I like the white finish on my deck as I do not feel the need to paint (matched my deck paint).

I have used this product repeatedly and think it's great.
Excellent product for ease because of the 1:1 mix ratio and the smoothness when applied. It sands fast and easily as well.I recently used the product fill in over 200 ground out bottom blisters on a 60' fiberglass bottom.
