3 to 4.5 ounces per gallon.
Approximately 1-2 teaspoons of pigment per 1lb of soap. Hot process 1/4-1/2 per 1 lb. of soap.
25-50 grams of pigment per gallon of paint.
How much Epoxy will 5g color? If I were using say 1/2 gallon how much Mica would I need?
A little goes a long way but on average 5 grams will do about 25 oz of resin.

Can this be used with gelcoat?
We really do not have much experience in using this with gelcoat, but we are aware people put this product in other systems besides epoxy. Tinted gelcoats may have too much opacity to really get the true effect that you would from a clear epoxy, you may have better performance from a clear gelcoat.

I will buy this product again.
I used the mica powdercepoxy pigments on a Christmas project I am working on. I made a wooden advent calender in the shape of a large book and carved the front of this wooden book with a Christmas tree and greeting. I used the mica powder with the epoxy to fill the carving and the colors are beautiful. Product was easy to work with and the colors are bright and beautiful and made this Christmas project even better.
Works as advertised.
Glassy smooth finish, or buff it down. Pretty colors to enjoy.
