Taylor Made Stainless Steel Fender Racks will hold any style boat fender. Cross reinforced for extra strength, these fender racks are made of high gloss 316 stainless steel, come fully pre-assembled, and can tighten to accommodate any angle. Moveable J hooks mount on any 1" rail and stanchion system. Racks fold flat for easy storage.
For 1-1/2" rails the Oversized J-Hooks (TAY-32191) must be purchased separately.
Note: For a two-fender unit, you need two J-hooks; for a three-fender unit you need three J-hooks.

Are these able to be screw mounted to the side of a fiberglass center console?
steved Last Name
Absolutely. Just use some backer hardware on the inside of the CC housing
Depending on boat style and clearance, this might work fine, but don't select any location limiting crew movement. My preference is still railing attachment.
what is the Hook and how many do you need for each Rack?
Believe there were two per rack, but not sure.
can these racks be fastenen in place or are they required to be removed when underway?
I just bought 2 sets of these a few weeks ago and I am very impressed with the quality. They can be fastened in place and do not need to be removed when boat is underway. I have them attached to my front bowrail. They come with rail attachments and hardware. Installation was really easy. Note that if your rails are thicker than one inch you will have to purchase the larger J Hooks for that size rail separately. Most boats will be able to use what's included in the box. I highly recommend these. They are the best fender racks I've seen on the market for quality, looks and durability. Glad I purchased.
THIS RACKS ARE FASTENED IN PLACE. THE ANGLE OF THE TILT DEPENDS ON THE ANGLE OF YOUR BOW RAILS. SINCE MY BOW ARE TWO DIFFERENT SIZES, I HAD TO PUT RUBBER AROUND MY BOTTOM RAIL TO BRING IT UP TO THE UPPER RAIL SIZE. HOPE THIS HELPS!
One more mounting bracket (4 instead of 3) would have been a big difference. It's stable with three but would be much more so with one more
I did have to use pliers to bend the brackets around the rail to get the screw and bolt to fit, but it really was a fairly simple instillation.
