Davis Fiberglass Stain Remover (FSR) is a unique stain absorbing gel that serves a variety of purposes. It is ideal for removing oil, rust, exhaust, waterline and transom stains. This product also works great on shower stalls and furniture made of fiberglass.
Its non-abrasive quality means that it is safe to use on white painted surfaces as well as on gel-coat. Just don't forget to test a small area to be sure FSR will not damage the finish. This product requires no sanding or compounding, and can simply be applied with a brush, sponge or cloth. Wait a few minutes and then wipe or rinse off.

Open FSR container has turned mostly clear - no longer blue. Is this ok?
It won't work as well.

If I clean a fiberglass shower with this product do I need to coat the shower with anything afterward?
I find that if you use Aerospace 303 protectant on fiberglass, it repels stains well.

I have a 27 year old American standard whirlpool bathtub. The jets and rings were white plastic but they've yellowed. I need help restoring the white color. They cant be replaced, so what do I do?

You will probably need to get a company in that restores fiberglass tubs. The FSR is a great cleaner, but will not remove the yellowing, that is just aging and loss of the plasticizers on those parts.
This product did a great job of removing dirt and grime but if the parts you are talking about have just yellowed with age I don't believe this will do the trick. Spounds more like the plastic has discolored and I don't know anything that can fix that
Is this good for a shower stall also that is fiberglass?
Is this good for fiberglass showers also?
This stuff was great on my boat...it cleared up old diesel exhaust staining on the transom. I'd imagine it would tackle a shower stall...I have some left over. perhaps I'll try it.
Is this an acid base?
I believe it is acid based. It certainly acts that way. According to the bottle, it contains isopropanol and oxalic acid. Hope this helps.
I could be wrong but I believe it is a mild muriatic acid base. It does work very well.
I'm really not sure because the product is in our summer home. I can tell you though that I use it on our jet skies and it works well with Bo problems. Our jet skies look new.
Has anyone used this product to remove the yellow discoloration from fiberglass RV shower caused by sunlight coming through skylight?
I tried this product on my boat hull. Some yellowing has occurred over the years. I was not able to remove the yellowing. In my case I believe the yellowing is on the fiberglass below the gel coat and the FSR didn't penetrate the gel coat. It may work fine if applied directly to fiberglass.
I have yellow stains in the fiberglass surround of my bathtubs. Will this remove them?
I don't know about bath tubs, but it does a great job on my white fiberglass boat!
It probably will, I used on my boats fiberglass after sitting in water for 5 months and it removed all the green/yellow water stains that were on the boat. Looked good as new - Loved the product!
This product works on my boat's fiberglass hull
YesThis is a great cleaner, Just follow instructions and give it time, it will clean most anything
will it affect allcrip painted surfaces?
Please tell Bill F that I would love to help, but I'm afraid I don't know what the term "allcrip painted surfaces" means. I googled the it but was unable to come up with anything. Perhaps if I knew what the term means, I could be of some help. However, I've only used Davis FSR on my fiberglass boat for which it works exceptionally well. Sorry I'm not more help.
Fiberglass Stain Remover
Bought this to try on the iron stains in the bathtub and sink in the house. It is great! Easy, no fumes, worked on fiberglass, porcelain, chrome. Seems like it takes longer for the staining to come back. Had my wife hold off on her normal cleaning routine to let it get worse than usual. Photo is the test results.
Best product out there, hands down
Amazing product.. Zero complaints & I highly recommend it
Only stuff that works for me - its magic!
I use this for cleaning the waterline on my boat. We boat in a river that has a lot of tannins in the water. A week in the water and we start to see brown staining. I put this on a sponge full strength and apply it to the stains. By the time I go all the way around and come back to rinse the stain is gone. It's bottom paint safe so if some of it gets on the paint it doesn't stain it which some products do. I was using this last year on the beach and the guy in the boat next to me was watching as I went around. He came over when I was done and was amazed at what I did. It took me about 5 minutes to go all the way around and clean all the stains off the boat. He said he's looked for years for a product that did that. I walked over and did his boat which hadn't been done all summer. Took it from brown to white in about ten minutes. I could have sold him my bottle right there if I wasn't so attached to it! One large bottle "big job" lasts me just about two seasons. I use a little bit every weekend.
Very good product!
This product is very easily applied with a small paint brush.Brush on and let sit3 or 4 minutes.Rinse off with clean water. Polish and wax if desired.

I had deisel oil stains on my sailboat. Nothing I tried would even partly work. This stuff was amazing. Brush it on, wait a minute or two, and wipe it off. Awesomw. And no effect on the color od the boat (white).
Davis FSR Fiberglass Stain REmover
This product does NO MORE than any stain removal product. Davis FSR states that it will remove bathtub rings. Duh. Big deal. I PAID OVER $30 TO GET THIS"MIRACLE" PRODUCT??? It did nothing to remove the stain on my fiberglass tub! We had a 8X10 pad on the tub that left a light brownish stain on the tub & pad. I think it was algae, not sure though. My wife researched "stains". I went thru numerous methods; Davis FSR being the last resort. This product does not do any more than a $3 product.
This product cleans any stains off the fiberglass shower stall. It is a true treasure.
This stuff really works. Took a neglected boat and made it look like new! Nothing else has ever come close to working this well, and I've tried them all.
Cat with an attitude
I was skeptical at first but it was easy to use and it WORKS! I spent hrs before scrubbing the deck with clr, simple green, etc this was just one time and my deck yellowish color was gone!
i would buy this product all the time
use the product to clean the stains below the water line. works great useing a damp rag. can't find nothing wrong no smell .
