River Guide using Float-Teck
I'm a night time river guide and require my clients to wear a PFD at all times while in my vessel. The Float-Tech brand are the most comfortable PFD's I've found bar none. What I don't like about them is the reflective tape flash back when taking photo's at night. I ask my clients to take off the PFD's for photos.I've been out in down pours without them auto inflating, which was a big concern of mine. When we leave the dock the temps are around 80 degrees, which is when we use the PDF only. Coming in at 2 am the temps can be in the 60's and damp. Using the outer shell keeps my clients warm and dry. They are very good at keeping the wind out.Comfortable! I don't know how many times I've had to ask my clients to take off my Float-Techs before they leave. One fella I had to call on his cell because he was already down the road. The PFD that's on the back of your chair isn't much good when a person is in the drink. WEAR IT- LIVE WITH IT!!Ps The slime washes off very easy too![@]
