Are these flexible enough to make a 90 degree turn? I'm looking to replace the trim on my motor home cargo holds. It looke like it would be perfect .Thanks, Doug Smith
Yes as long as the corner is rounded. Worked perfectly for my boat.
Hello Doug,Yes this rub rail is flexible enough for a 90 deg turn. I replaced the railing on my boat last year and at the bow of my boat, it had to be at least a 130 to 145 deg turn. I it made the turn with no problem. Sounds like you have a great idea, best of luck!
They will bend so long as it's not a tight radius.
Selection list numbers do not match part list numbers. Cannot find V12-5818 on selection list. ??
It looks like Taco doesn't make that insert anymore.
Is the V12-4144 available in white?
I cannot answer that question, we ordered black, that was the color we were looking for.
Not sure you need to call them they will be able to tell you
I only see it available in black.
how do I measure for the rub rail?
Measure all around from stern attachment point to stern attachment point. Very easy to do and install.
The measurement on the left side of the items on the picture list what the opening width of the rail needs to be that the insert fits into.
Take the total length of your boat times two since your rub rail runs down both sides. Then you will want to add however many feet of rub rail you have going across the stern. As far as getting the correct with you will want to pull a little of it out of the channel so you can measure the correct width. You will find that the easiest place to do that is at the stern. Just remove the end cap piece and slide a screwdriver behind it and pry it out. If you do it that way you can put it back in place if you plan to take the boat out while you are waiting for the new one. Hope this helps. P.S. A heat gun or blow dryer are going to be your best friend for installation.
If you want you can give me a call it was very easy to install I watched the Video that they have on there web sight but if you want to call me my phone number is 417-393-5946 my name is Jeff

Rub rail replacement on my pontoon boat
Exact right fit and composition of material to replace the torn rub rail that goes around my boat. The only difference was color, original was grey. So happy that it had a little extra as I needed exactly the 50 feet. It looks great!

Excellent Customer Service
Accidentally ordered the wrong size rub rail. Contacted customer service and a new rub rail was in the mail that day free of shipping. Awesome customer service! Rub rail was received in just a few days. With a little heat applied to the vinyl rail using a heat gun, the rub rail was easy to install.
