Stainless Steel 316
Does the threaded bore go all the way through, or is the top closed?
It goes all the way through.
the threaded bore goes all the way through
There is a hole in the top and the threads go all the way through.
It's threaded all the way through.
Do you have the 1/4" un-threaded?
Not sure why you would want one unthreaded unless you are going to weld it to something in that case you can weld it anyway. If you want to tap threads that are not offered buy the smallest thread and re drill and tap. If that is too big maybe JD can buy one untapped? Drilling and taping the thread is definitely a secondary operation.
As this is basically a nut incorporating a ring or eye, I'm not sure I understand your question, i.e., how can you have an unthreaded nut. If it's a nut it's threaded; if it's not threaded, it isn't a nut. I bought some of these eye nuts from JD and they're extremely well made and finished. And as they're in 316 stainless steel, they're super resistant to corrosion. Perhaps if you could describe what you want the product to do, it might be easier to address your question.
Mine was threaded same way it came from Boston whaler
I do not know if they come unthreaded. If , unthreaded, how do you plan to fasten them to anything.
LH or RH thread?
Whoever:A nut is a nut. Righty tighty, lefty loosey.
Threaded like a normal nut- use with all-thread or bolt of regular configuration- righty tighty lefty lucie
It's a standard thread normal way not sure what its considered but normal

A most versitile fastener enabler
Two of these eye nuts atop removable custom license plate(s) held on with rubber coated bar magnets will enable 'lock on' pickup truck tailgate by running vinyl coated cable through to pad lock inside bed. The only way to steal the license plate(s)is to cut the cable or break the pad lock. It's also serves as added protection from the plate(s) falling off if you hit a big bump or pot hole while driving.

I'm attaching Weld Mount threaded studs to the Gunwales of my Maine Guide square stern canoe to run steering lines attached to my outboard. A really nice looking install. Overkill YES, but Boats/Canoes are Floating statements, at least for me.
