Interlux Fiberglass Bottomkote NT

Interlux Fiberglass Bottomkote NT (New Technology) uses Dual Resin Technology to provide the advantages in both ablative and hard antifouling paints.

This durable coating prevents premature wear-through, yet it has a slow polishing effect that keeps the hull clean & smooth without the heavy paint build-up you can get year after year with a traditional hard antifouling.

Because Bottomkote NT dries so quickly, you can paint and launch the boat the same day. Suitable for all substrates except aluminum.

Everything they say it is

The coverage is great. Goes on easily. Dries quickly. My 34' Mainship trawler took just a gallon and a half!

Great experience dealing with your company

Used this product for years Excellent

I buy this product every year

I live in a cold climate and my boat stays out of the water for 6 or 7 months. I do sand the bottom every year and apply a new coat of paint. I don;t want paint build up. I've been sailing boats since 1974 and started with wooden boats. I switch to fiberglass in 1994 and have used Interlux all those years.

Great Product

I've been using this for years, it was packaged fine, but it must has have some severe abuse because it was open when I got it. The can was dented

good stuff

Used on the Hudson river, brackish water. Been on the bottom of my sailboat for four years with minor touch ups every year.

Great coverage with smooth even results

Loved this paint. One gallon covered my Sea Ray 290 with 2 coats. Goes on very easy and drys fast with great looking smooth results. Has properties of hard paint and doesn't rub off on your hand like regular soft ablative paints. We'll see how it holds up over the season. Fingers crossed.

Great bottom paint

Have used this on all my boats. Holds up well. Easy to use, drys fast, good anti foul in fresh water.

great bottom paint for salt water !!!!!

Great paint but almost too fast drying

I purchased Interlux Fiberglass Bottomkote NT by Interlux for repainting the lower hull of my 1940's 16' Comet sailboat. I liked that the paint was fast drying, but it seemed to dry a little too fast when applying. I used a paint roller to apply then a 7" paint pad to smooth out any of the texture. However, I had to be very careful and move fast in small sections because the paint would start drying immediately and would get tacky. The paint covered really well but I still applied two coats which ended up using about 1/2 gallon of paint. It says that you don't need to sand in between coats, but I lightly sanded smoothed out some areas. I did all of the work in an open garage in about 70 degrees. In the end, the repainted hull looks great and sure to last many summers to come.
