What is the life expectancy or service life of the bulbs? I have 4 fixtures installed in my engine room and they have started to dim on me. They were very bright when first installed but now are so dim, they barely illuminate the engine room now. Battery voltage is maintained via on-board battery charger. I left them on for approximately 4 weeks straight for what that's worth.
LED bulbs themselves usually last thousands of hours. It's most likely the electronics that step the voltage down.

Is the light a warmer yellow color or is it more on the blue side?
The light is bright white. I'd consider it more full spectrum than leaning toward blue on the spectrum. It is not incandescent yellow. It is very led white.
Not a warm yellow. Bright white would better describe it. Much brighter than old incandescent they replaced.
Mine is blue. Very happy with item
More on the blue/white side than yellow. Nice little light.
It is on the warmer white side.
How many lumens?
I can't give you an objective answer. Subjectively It is quite bright. I have three beliw in my Catalina 22. Any brighter they'd be an irritant in that cozy space.
I don't know but it is pretty bright.
what is actual wattage?
I do not know yet, because I have not installed them. The lights were sent to our home in Alexandria, because we are moving from place to place as we work our way north from Marathon, Fla. to the Chesapeake Bay. I believe energy draw should be minimal when the lights get installed because they are LED. Sorry that I cannot offer anything more.
LANDGRAFF C/O MARATHON MARINA
It isn't much. We don't know exactly what the wattage is our guess is about 4 or 5.
Does this fixture have a separate switch attached?
I've installed three of these lights within my Catalina 22. Easy Installation. Lights have switches, so as long as the circuit is live you have individual control of the lights. Illumination is bright and even.
Exactly what we wanted
Even though it didn't state for outdoor use, we put one on the bridge and one in the cockpit of our '84 Post Sportfisher to replace the originals that were in sad shape.
It is better product
We need to replace the old corrodid lights in the cockpit and on the bridge of our 43 ft '84 Post Sport-fisher. They look awsome and brighten it up great
I would buy this light again
I wanted to replace the dome light above the door from the cockpit to the salon. The original light was incandescent with a high current drain. My parameters were to find a stainless steel light with LED low current drain and of a diameter which would cover the original opening. This light met all three objectives and was easy to install utilizing three stainless steel screws. As with all LED products, just be sure that the positive battery source is connected to the red wire of the light. Best to check with the meter in advance. My factory installed wiring is black positive, red negative - go figure.

Replaced a couple of the original lights in my Catalina 375 sailboat. These LED lights were far superior in both quality of construction and light produced. As the remainder of my original lights fail, I will eventually replace all interior cabin lights with this model. Very pleased.
