EZ Bilge performance is proportional to the degree of surface preparation. Follow
recommendations carefully, avoiding shortcuts. Inadequate surface prep will virtually assure inadequate coating
performance. Surfaces must be free of dirt, loose paint, rust, oil, grease, wax, soap and any other foreign matter. Clean painted areas by washing with a solution of two cups household ammonia per gallon of water and rinse well. Remove existing mildew with household bleach instead of ammonia.

Used it in the bilge and lockers
I'm working in a heated building during the winter. Temperatures only get in the mid 60S. I used the white paint in the bilge, under the cabin sole and the anchor locker: ie: wherever moisture would accumulate. I also used it in the storage lockers and any dark recesses to help brighten them up and make cleaning easier. Plan on two coats and paint it on thin. This paint is thin and will run, so any slope will pool excess paint which will then require days to dry. Excessive pooling has required me to wipe it off and repaint. Hardens very hard.
Petit EZ bilge - not just for bilges

After floor boards are in it will see less abuse not more -
thin paint but covers very well, used it on a large engine room on a 56' LCM
