Shrink Wrap Tape is best used for repairing holes in the shrink wrap, attaching access doors and securing accessories (vents, etc.) to the shrink wrap. Do not apply directly to the boat's hull or other areas where the tape may leave a residue.
For taping shrink wrap directly to the hull use Seafarer White Hull Preservation Tape.

Shrink Wrap Tape
I would buy this product again.
I taped a door in my shrink wrap and it worked out just fine.
No Surprises--- Awesome
Great products which adhere and stands the elements and time..
Works as expected
Hard to get it to stick tight while wrapping, does fine once heated.
lousy adhesion in cold weather
I tried to use this product to attach a plastic door to my cover. The temperature was about 40 degrees and the tape would not adhere. I ended up using aluminum tape.
poor adhesion in cold weather
the product has poor adhesion in cold weather
Not so good
We used this tape for the first time instead of the more expensive shrink tape. It lasted three months, now most of it has turned to nearly dust and I had to retape some seams that gave way. The price difference is pretty huge, but if you want your cover to last more then three months, I 'd spring for the $65 roll tape.
