Wet area to be cleaned
Apply liquid cleaner to surface
Lightly scrub across grain, never with grain, with White Scotch-brite pad or soft bristle brush
If applying in direct sunlight, rinse frequently before drying occurs.
When rinsing, lightly brush the deck to help release the deep imbedded dirt. Thoroughly rinse the area with water and squeegee off the excess.
Can you use salt water for the wetting cleaning and rinsing if fresh water is not available?
Yes you could use salt water to get most of the cleaner off, but use fresh water for a final rinse prior to any finishing applications.

Not as good as acid wash...
My entire deck is teak and covered with Semco. I bought this product in hopes of avoiding acid washing my deck again & will probably use it but it certainly doesn't get the deck as bright or clean as an acid wash. More of a maintenance cleaner in my opinion.
