Does the ASL-251007 -- Bi-Color, Deck/Rail Bracket come with a pulpit rail bracket?
No; I had to use the old rail mounting bracket with the new inner electrical workings to effect the repair of the light. It has held up without problem. Also, if memory serves me, I believe the bulb type may have changed over the years.
No, it doesn'tIt has four holes in the back to match TO a square bracket attached to the pulpit.Sadly....even in this day and age...and considering what it costs for what it is....it does not come with an LED bulb.It is made well....just a 25 year old design.
What are the dimensions for this light including the mounting holes distances?
There are 2 holes at the top and bottom 1.42" side to side and 1.5" top to bottom.
Unfortunately we bought the wrong size and had to return it. Sorry to be of no help :(
Does the Aqua Signal Series 25 come in white? I have separate port and starboard nav lights and a veritcal transom mounted stern light that have white plastic where your lights appear black with stainless steel side pieces on the port and starboard lights. All I really need are new lenses as the current ones are very crazed and fogy looking. I'm sure don't project very far either. but it doesn't appear that I can purchase the lenses only. Thanks
I don't see the lenses separately, you can get replacement lights in white the white base.
How does rail mount work?
I guess it could if a plate is mounted to the rail. The light has 3 small holes for small machine screws.
Will the new series 25 rail mounted stern and multi color nav lights bolt up to the mounting plate of the old series 25 lights used on 1980's boats?
I just received my new Aqua Series 25 rail mounted lights. I have not installed them yet but they appear to be the same size and configuration as my old 1980s nav lights. I will re-post after I mount them, hopefully after the 4th of July weekend.
I bought these replacements lights for my 1986 Pacific Seacraft Dana and they worked perfectly. They fit the mounting plates on my older series lights.

It did on My 1988 Catalina 25
hi, i have 1973 C&C 39 and the bulbs fit perfectly in my old fixtures.
I may have just answered the wrong question. I have not tried to mount the new series in the old plates, i replace my bulbs with LEDs. I have a set of the 25 nav lights as backups to my old lights.
what fastner do i need for mounting on bow rail of sailboat?
Aqua Signal has produced this item in substantially the same form for a bunch of years. It was OEM on my Watkins 33 Seawolf. So when an angry dock lunged at me last fall and cracked both lenses of my bow light I was glad to find that Jamestown stocked an exact duplicate fixture. Since my bow pulpit has a bracket affixed it didn't concern me that the Aqua Signal Series 25 did not come with mounting hardware. I am, however, happy to report that the mounting holes on the new light lined-up perfectly with the OEM mounting bracket from 1987. I should probably add that as long as you are replacing your bow light that you also look on the Jamestown website for a 44mm Festoon LED (cone end) warm white bulb to use in place of the incandescent lamp that comes with the fixture. It'll not only save your batteries but should also last, absent an encounter with an angry dock, many times longer than a conventional bulb. James P.
The lights themselves don't come with a bracket. You need a separate rail bracket to attach these to a pulpit. Once you have the bracket you'll need some small machine screws to attach the light to the bracket.Google "aqua signal series 25 navigation lights rail bracket" and you might find some pictures of it. The one used is the black one and I used a red/green combo light.
Unfortunately, I dont have the answer. I simply left the base/back in place and slipped a new lens on. Sorry
You need an "L" bracket with a "U" bolt. You may need to drill holes in the bracket to accommodate the threaded shank centers of the "L" bracket. Bob
I have the same question.
Can I buy just the lens replacement for the Series 25 Masthead Light?
I don't know. I replaced a bow light not the masthead light.
Do all of the installation pieces required come within the navigation light packaging?
No. You will probably need some kind of bracket for each light. If you have a flat vertical surface to mount them to there are holes in the back, but sailboats don't have too many flat vertical surfaces.Check the drop down menu and the brackets are offered along with the variety of lights.
Everything necessary was included. It was a simple installation.
No, you get the fitting and the bulb. Mounting screws or bolts need to be purchased separately for your application.
what else do I need to mount on Bow pulpit rail? Mine is broken and this looks just like the one I have but the picture does not show it mounted to rail.
there is a clamp kit that you will need.
Does the Bi-color come with the rail mount bracket?
Not the one I bought, but I didn't need it.
I bought this item as a temporary replacement of my LED nav lights. It worked great. It does not include a rail mount, but the back allows for easy setup with two screws.
I purchased a single color light but they all appear to mount the same way and no, the light did not come with a mounting bracket. However, the bracket is relatively inexpensive.
I do not know. I purchased the white and it only came with the mast mount.
As I recall, no
No, it does not come with the rail bracket, and I could not find anyone who carried the Series 25 rail bracket.I had to use the deck mount plate, and I ended up just making my own, for very little cost. Hope that helps...
I manage a sailing fleet and it sure would be economical if we couls just purchase anlense instrad of an entire assembly z

The correct replacement Navigation Light
Replaced a smashed bow navigation light and the mounting fixture exactly matched the current mounting bracket. No new holes were needed to complete the installation.
Tried and True Design
Bought this to replace a LED fixture that I installed last year but wasn't happy with.
Just what I needed
Once you manage to get up the mast, the light is easy to install. I would recommend attaching a lanyard to any tools you use to avoid one dropping out of your hand and on to the deck.

Excellent service and a good product.
I ordered the mast mounted light but needed the stern light. Return was easy and the right light was delivered quickly.
Best price, quick dellivery!
I already had the same light but the glass was crazed. I bought the whole fixture just for the lens and it fit easily and perfectly. Also swapped the bulb it came with for an LED bulb and the light looks great now.
Great for a standard bulb

Replacement lens for Aqua Signal 25 Nav
Replacement for broken lens
Lake Cumberland Kentucky
I purchased LED bulbs to go with my new lights. Oddly enough, most Series 25 lights use 44 mm barrel type festoon bulbs, while the new ones required 42 mm cone style.
These lamps resist all weather and sun, but you kick them off, when in a hurry on the side decks and lamps mounted on cabin side. So, dont hurry or mount a flatter product :o))
