hi, i have nk77 a16 sr40 nav light. what model of bulb do i have to by?
I'm sorry I can't answer that . If you look at your light fixture it should have the bulb specs stamped on the housing. It's usually on the black, top portion of the housing. It should state the wattage and the voltage necessary. You want to make sure you match the base configuration of the existing burned out bulb. The other possibilty is that your build has and number written on the brass base.
Can a 24v series 40 nav light be converted for 12v use simply by changing to a 12v bulb? Do the 12v and 24v bulbs fit the same type of socket?
The ASL401007 Bicolor light I bought is 12v, 25 watt, so I can't help you.
High quality and great performing lights
The 40 nav lights really do the job if you want to be seen. There isn't much point to putting dinky cheap lights on a boat if you are out at night. The small lights are too hard to see. I like bigger lights- for me its worth it.
