Is this unit ignition protected?
I've just installed this blower as a direct replacement for the original one which ran for seven years and would still be running if I had not inadvertently stuck my finger in the fan and broke a blade. It connects with two wires and blows when the ignition switch is activated. It runs continuously when the engine is running.
Blowers remove explosive gasses past the units motor and if installed properly must be. If advertised as in line blower then must be ignition protected or is an in line spark plug.
I'm using this fan as a blower to pump air into the cockpit of my Polaris slingshot works great
I used this to replace an inline blower on a Cruisers Yacht. It was a direct replacement. Even the holes lined up.
Moves plenty of air
Easily attached to my ducting and mounted up easily. Moved plenty of air for it's size with only a slight amount of noise level. About what I expected, so I was happy with this product.
