MY PUMP CALLS FOR 2 DIFFERENT VALVES, 385310076 AND 385311325 DO I NEED THEM BOTH, DO NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT PUMPS?
All as I know is that you need 4 duckbills per pump so if it is saying you need 2 different kinds I would get that ! I had 2 pumps (2 heads) and only bought 4 , still didn't fix the problem ! Still cycling so, calling in a professional !
The duck bill valves are in the suction and discharge lines....the seals for your pump is an entirely different matter. I have had my pumps (two of them) for over 20 years and have never needed to rebuild them. That said, I have to change the duck bill valves about once every two years.Hope this helps. Sorry to be so late in answering, I was in the Bahamas for 3 months with no e-mail.
The 385310076 part number is a 1 1/2" duck bill valve. There is also a 2" duck bill valve but its part number is 385311208.What model of pump do you have?
The valves that usually fail first are the ones that face towards the intake from the head. My suggestion is if you have good access to the pump and your unit is over 5 years old replace all four.
Are these 11/2" valves? I need them for the 28HTS.
Yes these ones are 1 1/2" valves.
Do these fit S series pumps? I have a 1999 Searay with these pumps in it.
Sorry, it would be a guess at best!! look at the numbers on the head (handle) look up the specs. I suspect it will work but not guarantees.
Yes these duck bill valves fit an S series pump.
I have a 2002 Searay 380 with a vacuflush toilet. The manual says it is a 42 gal tank. Which duck valve do I need?
As far as I know the size of the tank doesn't matter, what you need to do is locate the vacuum pump for the system and get the model # there will be a duck bill on both sides of the pump, hope this helps
Our system is a VG4 and calls for part number 385311208. Would this item fit?
I purchased this item for a different model that called for the same part #. Very easy to install and happy with the results.
The VG4 is a new design that uses 2" duck bill valves rather than the standard 1 1/2" size that is used in the older VG2 models. So the short answer is that these will not fit in a VG4; they are too small.
What is the diameter of these valves? Considering for another application.
1 1/2" AND THEY INSTALL AT A THREADED FITTING JOINT ON THE INLET AND OUTLET OF THE DIAPHRAGM VACUUM PUMP
The valve fits in a 1.9 inch hole. The flange is 2.15" in diameter. I believe these are proprietary to Sealand.
