Robship Hook & Moor Boat Hook

The Robship Hook & Moor Boat Hook was engineered to make threading a mooring line easy and efficient. Simply push or pull the hook onto the mooring ring and the hooking mechanism does the work, eliminating the need for messenger, loading, or guide lines. In addition, it can be used as a standard boat hook when in its locked position.

Made of glass fiber reinforced plastic and aluminum, the Robship Hook is fully buoyant. The telescopic versions compact to 115cm in length when folded. Both 6ft and 9ft sizes collapse to lengths of 45 inches.

Solved Our Hookup Problems

4

The Hook & Moor performs exactly as the manufacturer claims. We ordered the 3 metre model and I can now easily access mooring buoys from up on the bow. Certain cleats and dock rings are also accessible from the cockpit or bow. It is extremely well-made and cleverly designed to thread dock lines through and around buoy rings or dock cleats. The only negative I have found is that in recreational boating, most often it is a female such as myself, handling the lines. The Hook & Moor, although the simplest/easiest pole I have ever used to retract or extend to different lengths, is, for quality purposes, heftier than other telescopic poles. That makes it a bit harder for smaller hands to hold. I worry that I might lose it to the deep one day. That would be a pricey loss.

Robship Hook and Moor doesn't last

Had the Hook and Moor a little over a year. It no longer will open and close properly. So now it is an ordinary boat hook. Poorly made product

Poor design

The rod would not open so it's only good for a small boat. This was the second sent to me.

NOT WORKING

Maybe it is just this one that did not work but it jammed on the first try and the hook is stuck. Not able to open up. Very Very Very expensive for nothing. Will see if they replace it. So far it is not happening.

outstanding product

product is exceptionally well engineered and works exactly as advertised. It is very simple to manipulate and handle yet gives exceptional strength and leverage in almost any application . The pole cleans up in an instant and requires little special attention . Even when fully extended it remains strong and easy to handle . For such a simple device , it has a myriad of application yet stores neatly away but remains handy for quick deployment in emergency situations .It is very fairly and competitively priced .
