TotalBoat TotalBilge Epoxy Bilge Paint

TotalBilge is a long-lasting, epoxy-based bilge paint specifically formulated to protect your bilge, bulkhead, and locker areas. The constant exposure to harmful marine elements like heat, humidity, mildew, grease and grime requires a superior bilge barrier solution to resist moisture and repel most oils, acids, alkyds and solvents right on the spot.

When compared to the top brand name bilge paints, TotalBilge stands up to the test. The single-component paint is easy to apply, dries quickly, and provides excellent coverage with a much harder surface finish. In addition, TotalBilge is easy to clean and does not lift, mildew, or stain over time.

Available in Gray & White colors, in Quart and Gallon sizes.

Bonus: Each order includes 2 stir sticks, 2 QT size paint pots, and 1 pair of latex gloves - a $10 value.

Doesn't seem to "cure"

I'm in Florida. Used this product on a couple of different boats. Four weeks later and it still hasn't "cured" completely. Will never buy again. Lesson learned: "one part epoxy" is just too good to be true... so it isn't. Back to catalyzed bilge paints for me.

Painting the bilge

I bought this paint because it was a one step process. Worked beautifully. Easy on, no mess no fuss...clean and white looks great! Applied it in 65 degree weather with absolutely no problems.

Definitely the right paint to use

Rebuilding a 1982 Baja jet boat. Took out Ford 460 motor, replaced, glassed and epoxied0all stringers. This was exactly what I needed to paint the engine area in the back of the boat. It went on nice and thick, and didn't run at all. Really only needed one coat.

This stuff is great!

So far I have used it on the floor and bilge in my engine compartment on my Vanguard. it is tough as nails, brightens up the area and generally looks great. Easy to use and goes on nicely, you will need a minimum of two coats but that is true of almost any paint.I will be ordering more soon.

Terrible product

1

I purchased this for a small bilge area of my jet boat. Cleaned everything well and applied a first coat. I let it dry 2 days and applied another coat, then let it dry for a week. When I had to work in the boat again I found the paint still tacky and it would sag where I stepped on it. Now instead of a smooth bilge the bottom is all wrinkley. I wrote the company but no response. I will add a third coat after all new engine work is done and hope that works. 2 weeks later and some areas are still not dry.
