Award-winning MagicEzy Hairline Fix lets you fix hairline cracks, stress cracks, fine scratches, and gelcoat crazing quickly and easily without sanding or other surface preparation.
Better yet, its pre-colored, one-part formula means you achieve color-stable, structural grade adhesion and superior cosmetic results in one application without the hassle of mixing in a catalyst.
This product can be used directly on ceramic, fiberglass, and wood surfaces. For use on aluminum and plastic, prepare the surface first with MagicEzy Mega Fusion Primer/Sealant (sold separately). For a high-gloss finish over deep damage repairs, apply Hairline Fix over MagicEzy 9 Second Chip Fix repairs.
Hairline Fix comes in a .43 fluid ounce (12.9 ml), reusable tube and is available in 11 popular boat colors (see color swatch image on the left).

Area: Above the waterline. Not to be used on surfaces below the waterline. Suitable for use on horizontal or vertical surfaces.
Ideal temperature for use: Do not use below 50 degrees F/10 degrees C.
Durability of repairs: Resistant to impact, water, weather, marine growth, and mold. Can be sanded and drilled.
Water soluble: Yes. Easy, no-mess, water clean-up.
Interior/exterior use: Both.
Step 1 - PREPARE:
Scrape the point of a pin along the crack or scratch to remove any dirt or grime.
Allow the area to dry fully in the sun or use a hairdryer to expedite drying.
For even consistency, rotate the tube between your palms or shake the tube for 30 seconds.
Step 2 - APPLY and LEVEL:
With a tissue handy, apply two drops of Hairline Fix into the crack.
Note: For plastic and aluminum surfaces, see repair tips below.
Note: To repair damage to vertical surfaces, see repair tips below.
Turn the tube around and wipe the 'level' end rapidly across the repair five times so the Hairline Fix can penetrate the crack deeply.
Step 3 - TRIM:
Use the tissue to wipe off the 'level'; use the 'level' to trim surface smears around the repair, taking care not to touch the repair itself.
Deeper cracks may require several coats of Hairline Fix to repair completely. Let the repaired area set at least 2 hours between applications (overnight is best).
Step 4 - LET DRY:
Dry times vary, but normal dry time is two hours at 70 degrees F/20 degrees C.
Allow repair to harden overnight; achieve maximum durability and adhesion after 14 days.
Repair tip: hot weather application
Above 90 degrees F/30 degrees C, apply a damp towel over the area until the surface reaches hand temperature.
Repair tip: blending colors, if needed
After cleaning the damaged area, mix two or more MagicEzy 9 Second Chip Fix colors on a piece of clear plastic wrap; place near the surface to view the new color.
Repair tip: fixing damage on vertical surfaces
Apply the product according to directions; after the second leveling, use a hairdryer to blow hot air on the repair for two minutes to form a skin that won't slump.
Repair tip: fixing plastic or aluminum surfaces
These surfaces require that you first use MagicEzy Mega Fusion (SOLD SEPARATELY) to prime and seal the damaged area.
Repair tip: drying in cold weather
Below 60 degrees F/15 degrees C, to set, use a blow dryer for three minutes.
a very good product.
Repairing stress cracks. color match is great and dry time is very good.
I would use this product again.
The product was easy to apply. It covered the hairline crack on my boat well, but I will have to see how well it holds up to the elements and if the color changes.
Worst product I have ever tried
MagicEzy is one of the most useless products I have ever tried. I followed the directions on the package and the video to the letter, in an attempt to repair crazing on my sailboat. After 5 applications, no one could tell the difference between the crack I had "repaired" and the crack that I had left alone. (Actually, one person thought the untouched crack looked better)! This product is neither magic, nor easy. Not only that, when I called the # on the package to inquire about the money back guarantee, the first 3 times I got a busy signal. The 4th time, I was placed on hold. After waiting ONE HOUR, they hung up! The only thing worse than the MagicEzy product is their "service"!!
Great Product and Company
This is a great product that is easy to use.I received a couple gel coat cracks in my Triton TR20 and this product corrected the issue.
Great stuff for the little stress cracks. Very easy to use.
