The alignment discharge from the filter screen was not per the picture.I had to remove and reuse the old filter to avoid re-plumbing the system.Disappointed...
Good way to provide uniform pressure.
Jabsco offers a solid line of marine products. Their pumps are well designed, compact and run quietly. They come with rubber cushions so they can be installed on a solid platform without transferring the usual vibration and annoying buzz sounds.Their electrical current demands are reasonable and can be installed with in-line fuses if there is no room on your panel. One drawback, however, with Jabsco is in getting parts. For example, my washdown system came with one hose spray handle, and my plan called for two outlets, one in the bow, the other aft on the cockpit bulkhead. Jabsco and their distributors would not sell me only one spray unit, they wanted to sell me another complete set. Hence, a trip to the hardware stote to get a suitable 2nd unit. I suspect the same will be true for any replacement parts for this water pressure system but have not needed any parts to this point. Points to a potential deficiency in their supply network.
