Two of these failed me after 4+ years
By Salsa from Panama City, Panama

Paint delamenates from the aluminium and defeats seals causing pump to stop working completely. I replaced the pump with exact same model and after 3 or 4 years had same failure, Whale does not respond to emailes.

Pump repair kit
By Richard from Panama City, FL

All parts fit except that my pump was so old that I needed to rethread all of the screw holes and replace them with slightly larger ones -- anyway the pump when reassembled works - however I will replace the whole unit in the near future before going on a long cruse.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
