will these fit a 1/4 inch brass bolt?

I don' t understand the question. Of course a bronze 1/4 " washer will fit a 1/4" brass bolt.

We used them with 1/4 20 silicone bronze slotted machine screws. No problem. Since we were limited in the length of bolt and needed more space, we also used 1/4 low profile bronze nuts and they worked perfectly.

A number 10 lock washer will fit a 3/16 inch bolt. You will need to purchase a larger washer for a 1/4 inch bolt.

Yes but, because you've chosen two different metals (brass and bronze), you run the risk of galvanic corrosion. Brass and brass or bronze and bronze would be better choices.

Ben, The washer should have the same id as the bolts od for it to fit properly; a 1/4" washer for a 1/4" bolt. Also bear in mind the the brass wil be less noble than the bronze. I do not like to mix metals. I would prefer a bronze bolt for bronze washers. I would prefer you to get copper washers if available. Of course the difference in the metals is not that great like mixing galvanizeed with stainless, but it is something to be aware of. Regards, Don

I'm pretty sure it will. A 1/4-20 bolt is the same size whatever it is made of. I don't have a 1/4" brass bolt to try it with; it did fit on a steel one. Brass lockwashers are pretty hard to come by (except for larger ones used as lamp parts). If the application is important, or involves electrolytes (e.g., salt water), you might want to get a silicon bronze bolt.
