Pettit Fiberglass Dewaxer Customer Questions and Answers

1 of 1 Questions

I first need to sand off the paint before getting to the gelcoat and then strip off the gelcoat to get to bare fiberglass. This is all in preparation for a repair and repaint to the entire hull. At what point in this process do I need to dewax? Thanks Jerry

You should use this first so you can prevent any of the contaminants from being sanded and pushed into the finish, then use this product again right before you prime to remove the residual wax leftover from the gel coat, thank you.
