Trident Type A2 marine fuel hoses are wire reinforced with a thick tube and cover to resist permeation, fire, heat, ozone and aging by all fuels, including alcohol blends. At its core is a wire helix between 2 ply reinforcement. Exceeds BIA and USCG Type A hose requirements. Trident A2 hose is indexed with a red Stripe. Three year warranty.
For fuel hose with the least amount of permeability, use type A1 fuel hose instead.

I put a 2" standard certified fuel hose on my boats fuel tank from the local Rubber & hydraulic hose company in town. After redoing my 27' Panga commercial grouper & snapper boat . But We kept smelling faint gas fumes in the bilge. We Checked for leaks everywhere , no leaks , everything was double hose clamped like its supposed to be ect... My girlfriend and I researched it and found that if a fuel hose Doesn't say permeable resistant or permeable proof then don't buy it!!! We bought a fuel transfer hose... so we replaced it with this marine hose from Jamestown and problem solved!! 👍🏼
